Could be lighting, but it also could be the batch. Edward Green's shades are known to vary a bit from time to time. Finishing such as theirs is not always a exact science

Now I see you have a decent (not astronomical?) number of EG shoes.

Haha. I only have 8 pairs and 5 pending MTOs. Trust me not that many compared to some of the veterans on this board like dddrees

Relatively new habit of mine

I'm small potatoes when compared to a good number here. Besides its not the number that matters most anyway, it's the fact that we all appreciate a great looking shoe or boot and that we're happy with whatever choices we've personally made.

Agreed and also it is important that we all recognize the superiority of the 202 last :-). It is oh so comfy
I also think its is very nicely proportioned

Apparently EG has introduced a new 72 last. What do you guys think of it?

It's only been used for one boot that I am aware of, so it's a bit hard to say for now as I don't own that boot.

Very jealous right now. I just placed an MTO as well for Falkirk in Edwardian. How long did it take to be delivered?

Thank you, @coldinboston they're Acorn on the left and Oyster suede on the right. The order came through fairly quickly, I ordered them mid July.

Thank you, @TtownMD I haven't posted in EG in quite awhile, but the MTO's are beginning to show up!

Great choice, Congrats!!!

Thank you, @dddrees I must admit that  while lurking in the thread awhile back, I found myself inspired by your Edwardian Antique's! But I decided to go with

Acorn. I tell you, the EG Falkirk is my absolute unequivocal favorite wing tip of any brand. The brogueing, the brogueing, the effing brogueing!!
