I may get a pair of Inverness on 888 last. For F width, do you have to go through MTO?

Yes I think that may be on request only unless one of the retailers stock them in F width I am not sure but you have made a good choice with the Inverness

If you cannot find a retailer that stocks it in F width,
You can get the inverness straight of the edward green website in F width. I think they have it in stock f9r black and burgundy in E and F width.
Cost ends up being about 1200 usd, aftet shipping, and customs to us, includes shoe trees. 2-3 day delivery via dhs

On a different note, i think the website pretty much links to the jermyn street store and it is shipped from there, at leasr my 2 orders from there did.

You do have to email them though to place the order bc the website itself will not allow you to ship to the USA.
Also the prices they send you for US are cheaper than the ones listed on the website.

I am suprised to hear that. I have now placed two orders to the usa from their online site via email. Both orders were handled by Sergio via the Jermyn street store and he was always pleasant and quick with responding. On my second order he actually noticed a mistake on what i ordered (based on previous communication) and he actually called me from London to check with me before he shipped the order. Saved me from accidentally getting the wrong size.
I dont know if Sergio has red hair as i have never met him....

FYI: i have not had to do this but he also stated that returns are free shipping and they would arrange pick up with dhs if needed. I cannot attest how this actuallt works in practice as i have not had to return anything.

I inquired to place an order via email (to ship to the US) and I traded emails with Sergio as well, who was very good at responding quickly & answering questions.  He was off the week I actually placed the order, but Robert from EG put my order in & they arrived with no issues at all & it was a very pleasant experience overall.

What I ordered... :inlove:

Thanks!  It didn't seem like I was going to get a BB corporate account, so I ended up buying these directly from EG.  I believe it's the same make up though, doak/mink suede with leather sole E82 :)

The EG online store has the Inverness in F888 in stock in black.

And here you can find them in Cloud Antique:

Very nice. You must have just placed the order bc Sergio was away the early part of last week haha.
I ended up getting the malvern in chestnut, walcot in edwardian, cadogan in doak, and these bad boys which actually feel like they will just laugh at a new england winter, and do so in style.
Oh and also 3 belts to match my footwear

Robert at EG London shop is a friendly and helpful sales. When I visited the shop last month, he told me EG had stopped making their briefcases a couple of years ago when the maker of the briefcases at their factory passed away. They only had three briefcases left at the shop when I was there - a burgundy , a midnight blue, and a almond cc. I bought the midnight blue one. Robert told me I can send them back to the factory in the future if the briefcase needs any repair or even replacing the handle, since they use the same materials for the briefcase as their shoes.
