I didn't make it to Leffot, however the day prior EG trunk show was visiting Mr. Sid. I took a few pictures of the show and placed an order. For the Duke unlined penny loafer in whiskey cordovan. Spring can't come soon enough.

It took me awhile to determine whether it would be the Nevis or the Thorpe for me. I had a few people who were rather helpful with regards to sizing advice which I couldn't have done without. Anyway I am rather pleased with my decision. Best to take your time and get it right and after all these things should last you more than just a few years.

I would think so given that they were showing it off at a Trunk Show. But you are aware there is a fairly healthy to say the least upcharge for Edward Green Crup.

I can imagine I was under impression shell was in major shortage. How do you feel about Italian Shell is,that worth buying for shoes or boot. I know Japan shell is not worth it.

Actually the original poster just chimed in. Currently only 7 pairs will be available and they each will cost $2500.

Galways look great with that said $2500 is a bit rich for my blood. I would likely want them in all crup. This is suprising as Hillery advised the boot could made. Awesome news forball those who were able to kop.
