On a side note, I wish it is possible to purchase EG dust bags (I know I can use whatever but I do like them to match).

I emailed them and they sent me some, straight from across the pond (2 pair)-for free

Sorry I'm sure this has been asked a billion times ITT but a little help would be much appreciated - I wear a 10 in CJ an a 10.5 in GG although they're both kind of snug. 10.5 in Carmina is a touch loose. What size EG?
Probably a 10.
You are in DC right? Get into Sky Valet and test a few pair out...

Been meaning to, just not sure I can get there today before the Edwards of Manchester sale ends

I wear a half size up from C&J in EG's 82, 888, & 33 (C&J 6E = EG 6.5E). The EG lasts fit me excellently though which has caused more pain in my wallet.

Thanks gents. I'm thinking of getting a Dover, 606 last. Suggestions for a leather? I was thinking a mid brown plain calf. I have the GG split toe blucher in dark oak peccary and will also get one in mid brown hatch grain.

I'm also a half size up from C&J. So 8 in CJ, and 8.5 in all EG lasts, though the 888 fits a bit tight. Also, I'd say no to acorn. Too band-aid-ish. I think if you want to go that light, Edwardian might be better, though online pics are quite terrible. There are too many variations all over the place to get a good sense of how yours will turn out.

If you're interested in doing EG MTOs in the future, I can send you swatches. It's too late for this sale, but just future FYI. May help figure out what color/ material you want. I have the four main calf colors (Edwardian, burnt pine, dark oak, and chestnut), and all their suedes plus burgundy calf are on their way to me.

Awesome, thanks d. So acorn isn't really like the acorn in this post?

edit: google image searched "edward green acorn"...you're right, definitely not what I'm looking for.

What about tobacco suede?

Ah, nm. I was thinking of Maple.

No experience with acorn, but here's aportnoy's color chart. It looks more orange-y here?

FWIW, this color chart doesn't really reflect the swatches I have, so maybe the color calibration is a little off.

Yea maple looks like kind of a disaster. I've never like shoes that light..."whiskey" cordovan doesn't do it for me either. Is your Edwardian like this?

That looks like the kind of thing that starts out just to light and you could polish into something richer over time.
