Good to hear, glad your pleased as well.

I have to wonder if and when a Zug Galway or Dover opportunity will occur again?

I'm fairly certain that Zug will be available again. Hopefully it'll be in a little while so I can recover from my current EG spree. Although with my country calf Galways, I honestly don't even know if I need them. Pretty sure the CC will take the light punishment I plan to subject them to.

I think it might have more to do with demand more than supply. That's probably true for most of us. Ah well, I still get a kick out of scoring it though.

Since when did "need" have anything to do with it. Pull the trigger or risk life long regret :)

I didn't cross the $1000 shoe/boot soon enough to get in on them or I would have. Oh well. First world problems.

Well depending on how you look at it, you've at least crossed that line now.

Besides there'll always be another hot IT boot or shoe to get. No one can possibly get them all.

Yea...I've crossed it a couple times, haha! I'm not too worried. The next boot is always just around the corner.

I guess should've learned my lesson already. I was this way with watches as well.

It's funny but in the end you've probably saved yourself some money by making the leap like you did.

I wish I took the leap first. Would have saved myself a few thousand as well instead of wanting to upgrade my other shoes.

I do not think that last was ever a point of contraversy. This type of boot with veldtschoen construction is only available on 64 last.

That's correct. Other lasts are much too poncified for a rugged boot.
