Congratulation and thank you for posting @RogerP. I will probably not see my boots until late September when I come back from my vacation. My boots were not in this batch and I do not think they will reach me before I leave for vacation.

btw - they are not that red irl.  Just a rich dark brown indoors, with a faint reddish brown hue visible in bright light.  My camera grabbed the red and ran with it for whatever reason.

Congratulation, they are beautiful boots all around , enjoy and wear in good health. So glad you went with the 64E last and not the F !

The leather is really terrific - different than anything else I have owned, including a number of pebble grain. Thick, waxy, supple, heavy - these are impressions that spring first to mind. Make that VERY supple. I've only been wearing them around the house (fit / comfort = excellent!) but I can't say I have formed an impression one way or the other on the sole. Trying them out in the snow and ice that is to come will be the real test.

Wow! Those really are stunning. EG does grain calf very well...better than most. Even without the rarity and "never to be made again" factors, these are out of this world. Thanks for the great images.

Your percentages are correct, but I think you may need to add rather than subtract.  No more zugs out there but these.  :D  Mine aint goin' noplace.

Somehow I doubt this will be the case.

This will be forever known as the time before Zugs and the time after there where Zugs.

Life will never ever be the same again.

Zugs!!!!

The saddest part of all this is that 1/3 - 1/2 of those who ordered probably ordered blind, i.e., guessed at their size in the 64, and will be trying to flip their Zugs for 10% off, then 20% then....how low will they have to go? :brick:[/quote]

While I don't wish it on anyone, I suspect there will be one or more that find they don't like the 64 last, whether how it looks or how it feels.

Zugs have broken out of customs, you cannot hold a good zug down.
