Well, I get that. Just wasn't sure of which type of cream or/and wax I should go with. People seem to have different opinions when it comes to that.

Wear them without reservation and give them just basic care and they will look amazing in a few years' time.

The actual product used for polishing doesn't really make that much of a difference, to be honest. This is why so many opinions come from so many people whose shoes and boots look decent.

Nice Stefan! MTO? Weren't the Beaulieu in could a stock model just recently? I thought I saw it on their catalog (could be mistaken).

Interesting your finish has a hint of blue whereas my boots in cloud have an earth-ish color.

those should wear nicely!

Thank you!

Yes, MTO. Has the metal thingy under the toe too as the toes get worn fast. AFAIK the beaulieu is not in the stock system at the moment, but this changes every now and then.
Mine might look a bit blue in the light. Will try to get a better picture tomorrow with a proper camera. Love the colour!

absolutely love these. I wonder how they'll look in 5+ years. my only experience with old shoes has been in black. I bet cloud just keeps getting better and better. (and if anyone's wondering, it's pronounced bewlee in England. forget what you learnt in french lessons. or, if you are french, forget what you learnt in french lessons).

Here are my Shannons with the shaft in cloud for comparison. The cloud is a great color! I've since added some black polish to add depth:

Good for you for adding flushed toe taps. I just add them myself since I'm cheap :embar: I find the Beaulieu interesting... I hear from EG that they're not "stock" but they're listed on their catalogue; it's the phantom shoe!

Kiltie and U cap is the right combo for me; I still have a hard time with the stand-alone U. Yes, I'm square.
