Hi you seem to be just the guy who can advise me.

I wear an 8.5E in EG and I must say it is near perfect. I cannot imagine even bespoke getting much better in terms of a fit.

But for an F width, would you strongly suggest sizing down by a half to 8F?

Can you comment on the difference in actual shoe width between an EG E width and F width?

Cheers

$1200 for seconds is a joke. I would never pay that much.

Are they seconds?

My mistake for not reading the listing carefully, it seems they are reported as perfect condition. Bad assumption on my part (it didn't come with shoe bags and only comes in the box and mat).

Looks like one of the Hardy Amies leftover styles.

Today, EG for Paul Stuart on the 202 last. A bit boring, but the leather and workmanship is outstanding. (And please excuse the crappy iphone camera.)

Today’s EGs: another vintage pair for Paul Stuart on the 202 last. This time, in suede….

More to come next week.

Gave them a quick cleaning, but will do a more thorough job before spring arrives.

I promise this will be my final posting, for now, of this series. (And thank you for indulging me!) I picked up a couple other pairs that I can post at a later date.

I conclude with a pair of wholecut EGs, made for Paul Stuart on the 201 last. I understand this to be a variation of the 202.

I pulled up my pants -- and 2" cuffs once again -- to provide a better view. I think these are really lovely... The patina just doesn't come through my iphone camera.

Hi, I find there is quite a big difference between the E and F width, I have a pair of Galway boots on the 202 last size 8 F but can only wear them with thick socks, the Galway boots on the 82 last I have is a 8.5 E and fit very snug. You really need to try on the different sizes to make sure they are the correct fit but if you are comfortable with the F width then I would stick with that. Regards
