So has anyone been to the EG factory shop recently?  Do you still have to make an appointment since their opening of the new showroom?

I ordered a pair of Galways MTO from the Paris store. Alex said they would take approx 3 months.

I bought the below pair at the time of ordering the galways. They are listed as Round Toe Alderleys. Alex says they are "Chestnut", but looks more like the burnt pine. (Could care less really! :)). I wanted the sole redone with a rubber patch, so that was done and they were fedexed to me with little fuss.

these are my first EG's.

Thanks JB. I thought it would only take 2-3 months. Hope my retailer is on good terms with EG.

I was quoted six to seven months, and have a pair being shipped to me now. The timing of delivery is exactly as Leffot quoted (which is who I went through).

Those green ones are amazing

I recently got myself a pair of similar Galways on the 82 last
I got an 8UK, but F width. Very comfortable fresh out of the box, even with thick winter socks

Im tempted to get another pair, but I was wondering how much narrow the E and D widths are respectively? Could I get away with the same size?

I'd hate to size up: the toe box is the perfect length

Any advice much appreciated
