^ agreed. I was supposed to wear my DOAK pair today but didn't realize I had the wrong pair on until I was already half way to the office. Devasted me I considered going back. And my day was so full of promise too

I made the rookie mistake of ordering the BB Dover thinking it was 606...should have been clear it was 888 from the photos. I almost kept them, but the tip seemed to go on forever. It was actually only about a 1/4 to 3/8 inch longer than my typical sizes, but maybe the vamp stitching accentuates it even more.

They must have been fresh from the factory because the scent from the box was amazing...an EG weapon to get you to keep them. Even the sales lady today opened the box twice to smell them.

Ditto. 888 is for modern, dressier models such as Westminster imo

I only see E/F EG trees on the Skoaktiebolaget site. Does Skoak offer trees in D? Or are the E/F suitable for use in D82?

If they don't have them which they may, they could always get them for you. I ordered a Galway in D with shoe trees and they made sure I got the right size. If I remember correctly Leaves covered this in a post as well. So just email them and see what they can do for you.

This shoe is truly timeless. It has a line shape and really timeless. Compliments.

I actually like this version better than the one your proposing. I think the material on the upper looks better than the black CC.

Well, just got my first pair of EG's off the BS. I never thought I'd ever buy a pair of black shoes but I couldn't resist a new pair of chelseas for ~$500. Never wear suits so it's probably going to be the first and last pair I ever buy :D

Nice, are those the ones that are 202 and 6/6.5E? I have a pair of black Chelsea's and use them quite often (although my non black to black is about 10:1).

Thanks dpprDr. They were 82 and 6E. Half a size smaller than I usually go but I figured it would help me figure out whether 6 or 6.5E would fit me better since I'm a tweener.

edit:

Actually, I'm a little confused. If the label shows this, does it mean it is the wider 6F UK/6.5 E US? Or is it the standard width 6E UK / 6.5 D US?
