The appeal, from my perspective, is that the leather is extremely supple and luxurious. While the shoe does not take on the same antiqued/burnished qualities, IMO it exhibits a certain element of luxury that surpasses their traditional crust leather offerings.From the models I have seen in person and online, Delapre leather does not seem to take the trademark EG burnishing as well as their crust calf. Despite this, I think Delapre has been relatively popular.
Personally, I am not really convinced of its positive attributes. But I am interested to hear what the appeal is. Cheers.
