Love the colour of these, but think the lighter sole and heel cheapens them. Looks a bit like just another novelty collaboration and could be so much nicer if the contrast was more subdued.

 

I'm sorry, but with all the beautiful shoes EG makes, I don't quite understand the need for an electric blue, suede captoe balmoral - unless you're performing at Aria Hotel as the reincarnated Elvis.

That long line of design running 3/4 through the shoes (I'm blanking on the term) actually tricks my eyes into seeing it as off in proportion. It looks short & stubby, but it's actually not when examined carefully. Would need to see IRL...
