It works!

I put each boot into a large zip lock bag with 5oz of the charcoal. 2.5 days later and most of the smell is gone. I can still sense it but it no longer fills a room. Note it will dry out leather. When I pulled the boots the leather was bone dry. Took the opportunity to apply some plum saphir cream

They look great and I love the combination with the trousers.

Forgot the name of this model it's not Chelsea but something like exmoor, elmsley or exeley. Esteemed member aportnoy told me once but I have since forgotten.

D 202 dark oak (prefer E but these were an eBay score at price too good to pass up)

My first pair of EGs, it's the start of what I see will be a dangerous habit.

I bought a pair of EG Walcot in olive (unsure of the exact colour) from eBay, they've been worn once and the original purchaser decided they were too small - I took a chance on them but they are too small for me and wondered if anyone was interested in them? Can provide pics tomorrow (PC problems right now). Size is 8.5D UK - I paid £290 for them and would be looking to sell them for the same. Will be relisting them on eBay this weekend but thought I'd see if there was any interest here

PM me if interested

@Ruscal --Very nice - been curious about the 606 Galways. How did you size them?

the nice lady with the neck tattoo at the shop sized them for me. tried on a few pairs and 7F seemed to work great for me across the 606, 82 and 202

This is great news Namor.

I'll have to remember this cure just in case, but I sure hope I never need it.

Leather/canvas captoe spectator:

http://www.brooksbrothers.com/Edwar...es/MH00334_____LTBR_11___E___,default,pd.html

BB has EG at Madison Ave., Toronto, Chicago, SF Union Square.

Thanks, found out they also have them at the Georgetown location. Talked to a sales rep yesterday after ordering the BB Galway and she indicated that if the pair I ordered doesn't fit, call immediately and they'll send me another. I ordered the 9US which may be small, depending on whether the toe box is larger than the 888. Shipped yesterday and I'll have them Monday.

I MUST HAVE THE SHANNON MTO! :worship2:
