You are right and I had thought of adding that disclaimer but obviously didn't. I do like brogue boots but I think my preference is based on the shape of the Galway notwithstanding the differences in style.

I agree that the Galway is definitely sleeker and more refined, but I absolutely love the shell on the Lindricks. Apples and oranges and happy to have them both in my rotation now.

I remember I gave you awesome pricing too. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I post photos all the time in the "Rock your Socks" thread and the "suede Shoes" thread. I have yet to see another pair of the pebble grain Falkirk that you sold me--they are a very original shoe:

That motherload started me on an EG path and I have purchased and ordered many more since then.

Absolutely. I am glad you like both. I did not mean to say the Lindricks are not a nice boot.

Those shoes are awesome. Was speaking to NAMOR about them on Friday, and he said he wanted the pairs you got.

Think about the MSRP on the tubo belt, and the other discounts you've gotten from me, and it's a bargain.

Anyone have any experience with Navy Suede from EG? I received MTO Shannon's in Midnight Blue with a Navy Suede shaft. At least, that's what I ordered. The box is labeled as such as well, but fuck if the suede isn't jet black. Am I crazy? The suede doesn't even look slightly blue.

With regards to EG Navy Suede...

I proxied a pair of Frome III in Midnight Blue and Navy Suede to an SF member during the recent EG Pop-Up Sale. Here's an image I took of one shoe in natural light:

The suede on those Shannon's looks black in comparison.

First, those Frome's are really gorgeous, and now I want a pair. Second, I think you are right and that they fucked up my order. Question is what do I do about it...
