808 has a softer square toe and a more generous toe area. not by much but noticeable. from the above pics you can see how the 888 trees dont fill out the 808 lasted monks

Thanks for the reminder Thinkderm. Halifax are nice but every time I see the Olney makes me remember how much I want a pair. It's the only thing with a strap that I ever consider wearing
