Thanks for the responses fellas. For now the tabs will stay put. I am always reluctant to remove a permanent part of a boot/shoe - even if, for me, the part serves no functional purpose.


I'm sure you can send it to Nick V. and he can take care of that easily if you eventually want it gone. Sometimes things are better left to professionals.

It would probably be easier and more aesthetic to put a few neat stitches through the pull tabs so they wouldn't jut out.

Never realized that you have a single sole on yours. They don't make HAF soles anymore right?

Haha, yeah I'll get back to you with some pics once they're cleaned & polished. No spit-shine though, doesn't suit them.

No, I don't think they do HAF soles anymore. Topdrawer only I guess.
