I might be taking the plunge on a W+H hoodie. I know that I can not pull off the tiger fleece; it's just not going to fit my style.

I do love the look of the slim-fit, non-zip hoodie, but what's the construction and fabric like? I don't hear people raving about these as much as the tiger's. I'm not afraid to spend money on the hoodie, but I'd need it to be worth it since it is a large purchase.

Also, if I'm a large in an H&M hoodie, or an Original Penguin hoodie, from the measurements I've read, I'd also take a large in the W+H Slim Fit Zip Hoodie, right?

And here's the hoodie. Would it be too much navy with raw denim?

I've tried on a tiger fleece. I wasn't impressed.

I haven't tried the tiger fleeces, but the 100% cotton ones are extremely well made. $150 is a lot for a hoodie, but they're good enough to justify that.

I was holding out for a grey one, but I really really like that navy color, and the bold zipper down the center creates some serious contrast.

Would that color go well with raw denim? We're talking about a sweatshirt that is going to get a shitload of wear here, with all types of jeans, because if I'm spending that much money, then I'm wearing it all the time.

Grab the navy or hold out for a grey?

Don't get navy. You can wear it with raw denim, but the color's going to be so close to indigo that you're far better off with something else.

I would say to wait for grey. I just got a grey Hanes hoodie that has already seen alot of use with dark denim. I'll have to invest in a better one soon.

As long as u dont have it zipped all the way up, an navy W+H zip-up is not bad.

Here's me wearing it with rigid ES Fultons:

I wish zozo shipped to the states and wasn't sold out on my size. If anyone knows of any sites that has slim fit pinstripes, i'd be very grateful.

I bought a slim fit small non fleece that i resold because it was too small. I'd have to disagree with max. When in your right size they fit and feel great. My girlfriend fit in it perfectly and was blown away by the quality compared to hoodies under $100. It wasn't in a color she wanted so i resold it, but you would definitely not be dissapointed buying it. Wait for the color/size/fit that you want though. I think it's worth it.

They definitely make a grey, but I'm not sure if they did for the winter. I have a Spruce classic fit heather grey hoody, so I'm guessing they did slim fit too. The grey one seems as soft as the tiger fleece ones. I have a plain black W+H one as well, and the fabric on that one is a bit more stiff (on the outside).
