I'm looking for gym shoes. I know they're not the best looking but I'm trying to strike a balance between comfort and looks. I'm deciding between the following colors:

black/white/red
grey/red
black/white
yellow/white
grey/black/white

Here's the shoe:

Which do you guys think is the best looking between those colors? Thanks!

Generally, lifting in running shoes is a bad idea.

those are kinda ugly but if it has to be those, just go black and white.

Black and white is a good choice.  Gym gear is best kept conservative IMO.

You'll need a different pair of shoes for lifting though, especially if you plan on doing any deadlifts or squats.  Running shoes are great for absorbing impact; you want contact with the floor, control, and balance when lifting free weights, though.  A basic converse LT chuck taylor is an excellent lifting shoe.

Get both, and you'll be set.

Get a pair of running shoes for running, and a pair of chuck taylors or jack purcells for lifting. BOOM!

Holy shit at those shoes in yellow O.O

Wear runnings shoes for running and something with a hard non compressible sole for lifting if you're gonna be squatting and deadlifting. Can always go barefoot for those.

Chuck Taylors for deadlift. Shoe is good enough for world records, it's good enough for you. If you squat deep, look for something with a heel block and solid sole, it not, just solid sole. Sole compression under heavy weights is no good.

Nike Frees, or comparable alternative, should be good for everything else.

Why would you even wear shoes for deadlifts?
