I know this subject has been discussed in quiet many threads before, but I still can't make up my mind which two pairs of RMW boots I should go with.
What I know is that I'm getting one pair in chestnut and one in black. One of the issues I'm struggling with is whether it's a good choice to buy a pair with leather soles or if I should just get two pairs in non-slip. I live in Norway, so the weather might be a bit harsh some times. However, I still have some SWIMS that I could use if it’s to rainy or a lot of snow.
The following shoes I can't make up my mind about:
1: RMW Comfort Craftsman (yearling leather chestnut) (non-slip sole)
2: RMW Kangaroo Comfort Craftsman (kangaroo leather chestnut) (non-slip sole)
3: RMW French Veal Calf Craftsman (veal calf in black) (leather sole)
4: RMW Macquarie (in black) (leather sole) (is the rubber comfort sole an option for the inside or the outside of the shoe?)
I've heard that the kangaroo in chestnut have a much richer look that the yearling, but that the leather might shrink with use.
Someone also told me to never use one pair two days in a row because the leather needs to dry out. Therefore I need to buy two pairs which can be used each day, and not one just for special occasions and one for a every-dag use. Still I'm not so interested in buying two types of the same model with the same type of leather just in different colors. Then I could have bought 2 pairs of the CC...
Hope to get some advises. Thanks.
