The Official Carmina Sizing Thread - Page 53

Looking for some size advice for the Oscar, Inca and Detroit lasts.

A Brannock has me at a UK11 with a wide-ish fit, however my main issue appears to be that the instep and ball of my foot is quite thick.

I have a pair of derby brogues in the Forest last, UK 11, which fit okay (now). They caused me issues when I first got them, mainly because they were too small around the ball of my foot (suspect an 11.5UK would fit just fine - thoughts?). Fortunately they've stretched and whilst still snug, are now perfectly comfortable.

I'd love to see some shoes in the EEE Forest last but I've never actually come across any.

Cheers!

Which other lasts would you recommend that might fit me and what are the differences compared to the forest?

Thanks in advance!

What size would I be in the Incas? I am looking at getting a pair of the double monks.

Here are a few of my sizes:

Brannock: On the lower end of 7 and narrower end of D

AE 5 Last: 6.5E

AE 1 Last Dalton - I own a 6.5E, but its loose in the heel. I bet a 6.5D would be better

Thanks
