Hey Roger, saw you rocking the navy wholecuts this morning. Rain last?

I wasn't sure how versatile navy could be, but it actually does pair well with a suit. I'm going to take the plunge with some double monks.

^^^ You did? Were you on the train with me?

I was likewise unsure about navy until I took the plunge, but the wholecuts get a lot of wear - grey suits and navy blazer / grey trousers in particular. And yes, they are on the Rain last.

Bronte station! Think they're a good idea with a navy suit, or too much?
Well hello neighbour! I don't think they'd be too much with a navy suit, I just like to have a little contrast between trouser and shoe - strictly personal preference.

hey you guys who bought Forest 861 CXL boot from the Shoemart check out the toe cops on your boots. The toe caps on my boots are uneven. The left toe cup is about a 5 millimeter longer than right toe cap. This is not something that bothers me but these shoes should have never left the factory.

Half a millimeter?  I'm impressed with the your measuring precision.

Interesting that you both size down 1/2 size from your Forest size for the Rain last.  I just ordered a pair in the Rain last in the same 11UK that I take for Forest and Inca.  Forest fits me very well and Inca well enough except for how low the toe box is.  Will have to see how it works out.

yeah, i haven't heard about sizing up for forest... interesting considering forest is supposed to be roomier.

I wear UK8.5 in Rain.  UK 8.5 in Forest does NOT fit.  Too tight through the instep and forefoot.

Thanks for the heads up. I wear the same sized rain as you. What size are you for Vast F last?
