That's right. I don't see any black wingtips on the Armoury but I see most Carmina going for 3800 HK + 350 shipping = $535 Seems like a pretty big markup, but maybe they had to pay Carmina the extra 30% for MTO?

Has anyone tried emailing info@carminashoemaker.com for inventory requests or does that go to Betty as well?

TTS US 12D. Size up 1/2 size from UK for EG & G&G to get to US size. Size up 1 for C&J and Carmina for US size.

Why do you size down another 0.5 for C&J 348 compared to C&J 337?

Strange. In my experience, the 348 was definitely tighter than the 337.

Trying to decide on what size to get for the Salinger double monk from Epaulet and was hoping to find some help. I am a 5.5E in the Barrie and 6E on most other last form Alden. Any good suggestions for me? not sure if I should go 5 or 5.5UK. Thanks for any advice.

if you don't mind me asking, which C&J 348 model are you referring to specifically?

Looking for some advice on Epaulet's Steinbeck boot. I wear AE 5 last 8US, Alden Barrei/Tru-balance in 7.5 US, and the Darlton in 7.5US. Based on reading the last 8 pages I think that equates to a Carmina Steinbeck size of 6.5UK. Probably not going to risk it with Epaulet's no return policy but looking for advice regardless. Thank-you

Better ask in the Epaulet thread (http://www.styleforum.net/t/111211/epaulet-shop-official-affiliate-thread), but depending on where you are, Epaulet has a 15-day return policy for Styleforum members, just mention it when you return the item and they'll credit you back.

Carmina Filadelphia = 10UK (Note: These were double monks and I went for a more snug fit). Wish I would have taken the time to try on as many lasts as I could because my sizing down of 1.5 has left me confused about the other lasts. Don't know if it really runs that big or if the extra half-step down was unique to my foot.

I am highly interested in the Carmina Uetam Last String Loafers but don't know which size to go for.
I have never owned a pair of loafers or Carminas before and Carmina does not hold in stock a single colour or size which might be of interest for myself.
Not a single store in Germany or Milan offers the Uetam last.
I've got a US7E in Rancourt & Co Ranger Mocs which I run barefoot, US7 in Sebago Docksides, UK6.5 in Alfred Sargent Kirkhams which might be a tad too narrow for myself and EU40 in Lendvay & Schwarcz.
Any idea which size I should go for or how I could determine my size with greater certainty?

Louis, based on what I've been told by Alan from The Armoury in HK, the Uetam sizing is the same as the Simpson last (I'm a 7.5UK in the Rain last, and I think a 7.5 in Simpson). Not too sure about the Simpson sizing for myself, because I've owned a pair in 8.0UK and they are somewhat loose, so I guessed I am a 7.5.

Thanks for your help!
I really have to figure my size out, I am in desperate need of those lovely loafers.
