Abusing the "admire" loophole to the utmost, on the basis that the thread desperately needs a higher nerd quotient...

And actually, honestly, I think all the above are much more interesting & imaginative designs than anything else posted in the thread. As for the relevance to how I dress? Obviously limited as cosplay has never been my thing! biggrin.gif

Perhaps, though, they reflect that I've never taken real-life objects terribly seriously. Home decor, high-end gadgets, watches, cars... none of them really grab me though they certainly offer some transient amusement. Cleverly crafted food & drink ranks a little higher perhaps. But most of the artisanal/handwork aspects intrinsic to the make of things that many enjoy appreciating on SF goes right past me and I don't "feel" all the various shoe/whatever pron-type threads beyond a vague "yeah, OK, pretty shoes" level. I can appreciate it intellectually, of course, but not emotionally. A well put together outfit, though, that I find engaging because it's a well-sketched manifestation of an imaginary idea. The components and their history/nature/make, matter much less to me than the synthetic whole. Not zero, mind, but less. The pics above are of clever ideas; somehow their very unreality/impracticality enhances that in my mind.

No way the top-heavy D is more stylish than the original.

I will certainly accept the A refit version from the movies over the D, but not the original TV series Constitution class.

So OK, just for you... tongue.gif

Blueprints/Manual embedded in the windshield.
Deforestation at racing speeds.
Off road mountainside traction control.

Optional bratty sibling and mischievous chimpanzee in trunk.

Vs. finicky DeLorean that may or may not go back to the future.
No contest.

Honorable mention...

Turbo Boost jump for getting out of those tight parking spaces.

Too static. Needs the rotating glowiness of the nacelle caps from the original and still best.

The demise of style in the last half of the 20th century, in three acts:

non-clothing? devil.gif

By the way, almost all of the models have near perfect gluteus and simultaneously pose to become this harmony of female expression.
That, is style to me.
