Buying a Complete New Wardrobe... Colour Palette?

Thread Starter

Hello,

I have been looking at my wardrobe lately and been thinking that it is just filled with T-Shirts that look like they are for 15 year olds, tatty jeans and one nice shirt that is kind of ruined due to a fight at a club.

So I am looking to start from scratch but I am unsure of colouring and want to know how I should go about identifying what my colour palette should be... basically how is it worked out? as I don't want to buy clothes that don't suit me colour wise. I think I am a Summer Colours person but I am not 100% sure.

Thank you :)

For goodness sake, are you totally incapable of going into shops and selecting garments that you like and would want to wear? You are complicating this to an unbelievable extent.

Troll or idiot come to mind

Get the book Color for men by Diane Jackson. I found my copy cheap at Abe Books.

Get basic items in navy, light gray, white, brown (shoes) and then add some color in sweaters, ties and socks. I think it is quite simple.
