Paul Stuart clients: Tell me about the "Paul" model fit

I recently tried a Phinneas blazer from PS that I bought online. I liked the cut in that it was slim w/ high arm holes, but the styling was a bit much for me. So, today I called PS in Manhattan and asked about the trim fit "Paul" model and was told it was very close to PC. Can anyone describe the difference between Phinneas and this model. Any help would be much appreciated.

Not sure how much help this will be but i think the different lines of Paul Stuart are made by different companies. One being a canadian one and the other being Isaia. Other than that i have no idea bout the differences

Call Stuart again. Ask for Ralph. He's the Phineas Cole designer/merchandiser. If he doesn't answer, or return a VM, ask for the 2nd floor mngr, John, and he'll break it down for you.

Nothing in that store is as "trim" or as "fashion" as Phineas. So at least there's a jump off point for you.

Good luck.

Moral of the story: Try...to never buy tailored clothing online unless you can 1) afford the time and $ for exchanges, tailoring, returns, etc... 2) cannot absolutely get to Chicago or NYC to try Paul Stuart clothing on in person.

Phineas Cole and the "Paul" model are both made by Samuelsohn (the canadian manufacturer you mention). The italian made suits are "Stuart's Choice".
