I am pondering a pair of gravati double monks at about 200 dollars. Yes, No, thoughts?

is your question about the style of the shoe or the shoe itself?  i really like the gravati's i have owned as far as construction, fit, comfort etc.  but i don't like double monks no matter who makes them.

That is an excellent price for a quality pair of shoes. Everyone I know who has bought Gravatis raves about how comfortable they are.

Double monks are classic. If he likes the style he should buy them, although they may not be for everybody. Just because a few bloggers have fixated on them the last two years doesn't change that.

Comments like yours show a total lack of knowledge of men's fashion and style.

Just because I don't happen to agree with your opinion doesn't make me less knowledgeable about men's style... satisfied.gif

I think double monks have become too 'fashionable' to wear with most things but its not for me..

I have a pair of Gravati bluchers I bought off a forum member last year, and they are super comfortable, beautiful shoes. I personally like double monks, and have been meaning to pick some up at some point, so if you wouldn't mean divulging your source, I would love to know too...

I have decided not to buy them. Thank you so much for your thoughts. I would love to tell you my super secret source but unfortunatly these are posted on ebay, they are probobly still there but maybe not your size and only one of them.
