There aren't actually cuffs, it's just where there's a minor crease across both ankles. And is the above a typo, or are you "in awe" at how low the rise is (not judging, just asking tongue.gif)?

Uh, it was a joke. sarcasm.gif

Regarding its appearance, while the color may appeal to those who appreciate the sartorial avant-garde, its deficiencies (noted above) offset any points gained thereby and detract from the overall look.

Gosling looks amazing. Look how he stands out in a sea of boring ass black tuxedos. To call that look awful is an obvious sign that you´re losing your sight.

+1, it also appears that he has no waist covering

Black tie should never be about "popping out" from the crowd, it's all about the subtleties. He looks way too Ryan Seacrest in this getup

Simply awful. Sleeve length, flap pockets, button stance too low (i.e. definitely not 3 button standard), tapered trousers, the shoes....

Colin Firth's suit had a really low button stance. It didn't look right to me.

Other than the flap pockets I think it's a good looking tux. Unfortunately, it would appear that Beckham borrowed his little brother's really good looking tux. And used whatever shoes were laying around.

Haha - didn't King James describe St. Paul's cathedral as "aweful", meaning inspiring awe?

I think he dressed down on purpose, so he wouldn't look prettier than his girl...laugh.gif She is amazingly hot though. Her dress looked very wardrobe malfunction prone, I was waiting for cohen to step on her 15 ft long dress.

laugh.gif i know you were joking mang, as was i.

anyhow, i know there are technical issues with his fit, as are with most fits. i just liked that he was going for something different, and all in all, i think he looked quite good doing it. that is all.

So many of the mens pants were too long. I disgree with the overall thumbs up on Hanks. Something not right with the waist suppresion and it made him look as though he had given birth previously in his life.

This thread makes me wonder if there is a parallel universe, where the female equivalent of SF mocks the hideous gowns the celebs wear. All the while oogling the men based purely on visual appeal... confused.gif
