not my size though... still, a search for Adidas clean brings up some nice shoes.
I'm positive those are knock offs or a mistaken id by the seller. It's a totally different shoe.

edit- the tongue and the off color is the giveaway.

^ I like those clean lavers. Never seen those before.

superga make an all leather version, too. but they have the gum sole. stan smith are my go-to 'regular' sneakers. I've got like 2 burned out pairs that I can't seem to ever throw out. also converse did a really clean low top called the "first string". but it might just be canvas, not leather.

All white leather chucks are pretty sleek and cheap. They're pretty good beater shoes.

Generic Man (expensive but still way less than CPs) / General Surplus, Clae, Spring courts (are not sleek), Occasional vans, some of the nike x whatever collabs are quite sleek

off the top of my head

Why not search for cp slightly used or on deep discount? I have maybe 4-6 pairs and n ever paid more than 150$ for any pair.

Also made in italy and on the same sole as CPs, I think.

Marc Jacobs

Various sizes, colors, styles show up on yoox sometimes.

How poor? Mors are handmade, European, leather shoes that start at $180 AUD. Website is here. Some people don’t like the detail on the heel, but I think it looks OK.

Which site(s) do you buy from?

usually you can find some at a discount at the b&s section. usually some brand new pairs around $200 and used ones around $150. Got some shelltoes and vintage achilles if anyone wants to snag em

Closest I could find from Generic Man was this one, did you mean this model or is there a closer match?

if you think about it, its funny there isn't more because cp shoes are so minimalistic it would be so easy for other brands to imitate.
