The latter is much darker. If you're looking for a deep brown, bitter chocolate is your color.

Just unpacked and stored my new Cappelli ties I picked up at the beginning of July. Most of these are from the small bespoke stock he keeps at his shop.

Received my ties today. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a camera, will take pictures later. But I just wanted to let you guys know that Patrizio is pure class.

There was a misunderstanding with one of the ties, and a problem with another. I purchased what I thought was an olive grenadine fina tie according to my monitor. But it showed up to be dark brown grenadine fina. Unfortunately I have one exactly like it but from Sam Hober, so this one is a bit redundant.

The second problem was one of the ties was missing a seam/wire holding together the blades at the back of the tie. So the blades are flipping around.

I contacted Patrizio about this and he told me if I misjudged the color he would be glad to replace the tie for me. He asked me to send it back to him and let him know which other tie I'd prefer. And he also asked me to send back the tie without a seam and he would fix the problem for me.

Truly awesome customer service.
