J1 doesn't seem that demanding of the viewer's attention to me, which is why I chose it. YMMV of course.

Here's a close-up of it. It's probably a fabric that could be used as jacketing (maybe it was made as jacketing), but it would be a rustic jacket. And the color is much better for a tie than a jacket.

I like the colors but don't care for the amoeba, but that's just me. I prefer A8, which is similar. I got a third variation that has the same base but diamond shaped medallions. Not surprisingly, it's my favorite of the three.

Shitty ass Bart pic of my madder.

I have been wearing this madder all summer. Not all of pat's madders have that chalky feel that places them in the a/w season.

This season, Drake's has picked up the challis medallion that Patrizio made up a few years ago (e.g. the Indigo that is on the banner of the Cappelli website, from Cleav). They have all the colorways, for those of you who missed out on Patrizio's stock (I think he has the burgundy still, which I highly recommend):

I suggested doing the green in madder rather than challis and Patrizio is game to see if this is possible. In hindsight, a madder version will be close to the above WTL tie I have in green so I might see about other madder versions (perhaps blue).

Still, this design was rather popular as was the similar pattern in madder like the WTL tie above, so there might be interest. Let me know. I'll keep you informed.
