They're just all made from different fabrics even though they appear to be quite similar on the webshop. Aside from the weaving structure there might be other differences like weight and colour.

I have the lighter gray (#2) and I really like it, it's very versatile. It is a tad lighter in reality than what the picture suggests on my screen. I'm going to buy #1 soon, too.
Since you have #2 and plan on acquiring #1, would you say they're as fuzzy as they look in the pictures? They look like fuzzy flannel.
Also, would you say there's a place for a dark grey/charcoal wool tie like #1 where a light grey or navy wool tie isn't better suited?
Thanks for your input.

It's arrived. Trying to change things around to get it on tomorrow!

Patrizio, it is fabulous, grazie!
Wear in good health! Looking forward to see it in action =)

Yes, it is. Actually, I believe it might be made from VBC flannel. I have a pair of VBC flannel trousers which look and feel exactly the same.

Since I wear blue jackets/suits very often I get a lot of use out of all sorts of grey ties. I'm planning to wear the darker one mostly with lighter than navy jackets, like in this picture (courtesy of B&Tailor, iirc), for example:

Funny thing is, I have a pair of VBC flannel trousers too, and the tie looks just like my trousers, hence my question. Thank you for confirming it.

Picture and matching looks great, btw. I can see why you want the darker one given your wardrobe.
