If I'm a size 30 in Dior 19 and 17.5 cm, would I be a size 30 in SLP as well? I've heard from some people that I may have to size up one to 31. Anybody have any experience?

I went with the same size.

SLP does have a 15.5cm cut which I haven't tried. I'd predict one might have to go up one for that if athletic.

Gents, what DH is this one? 21cm?

Yoox? Looks terrible man! Has to be 21cm.
Yup, Yoox. No good, right (looks really high waisted)? What are some of the things to look for in the "proper" DH denim?

I have some 21cm's and they're way slimmer than that. I'm guessing they only had those really large sizes (only 36 and 38 are available) so they had to shoot the model wearing a size way too large for him.

Speaking of 21cm's.. does anyone know where to buy them these days? I can't find them anywhere. Even called a couple Dior stores (LA, NYC) and neither had any. Nor does Saks or Barneys. None on LVR either.

Hi evryone

Bought these vintage silver CD Homme sneakers at a fleamarket today. When do you think they are from?

I want to buy a pair of dior raw but i'm a bit confused...

Luis Aviaroma sell the nostalgy and the brut
the official dior website only has the timeless ''raw'' blue. S/S 2014 (japanese denim)

so...the timeless raw blue is the new name for the brut? and they abandonned the nostalgy?

I'll probably wait until I visit the dior homme store in NYC!!!

brut is french for dry, or raw. the timeless bit is likely just marketing bs

iirc,, the nostalgy are also raw, just a diff season or the MII version

Hi Monstro,

I just checked a pair of my raw indigo and there are a couple of inconsistencies with what you have there. For instance, the top button (fastener) is not the same, and the tag showing Made in Japan should have the same en Francaise above it, as well. I've also never seen hyphens used in a Dior tag, period...it looks very unprofessional. Some of the interior stitching looks sloppy to me; and it's odd there would be loose threads. Finally, the Dior logo on the leather tag seems a little bit too high, usually it's a touch lower but that may be difficult to tell from the pictures.

That said, the exterior looks fine to me.

I don't know, may be a few things have changed with that gray denim? Can I ask what price you paid?

I'd say a good fake but definitely not legit

^^ Definitly a fake, bro. And I can tell just by the mistakes on the french spelling on the tag and I'm french, with a good grammar so you can trust me on that). Should have been :

- "séparément" instead of "separamment" .. (Never understood why those people making fake stuff can't even COPY something correctly!!! Is it that hard to do, word by word, letter by letter? lol)

- From my experience (unless it has changed recently) Made In Japan Dior jeans never carry the translation in Italian (or german, or whatever the other 'foreign' languages are...), only Made In Italy jeans are supposed to carry the additional translations, which seems logical since they are made mainly for the european and Western market ... Made in Japan jeans carry only the french and english version. again not sure about that, it may have changed recently...)

- Matter of fact, where is the french version of "made in Japan" ("fabriqué au japon") on the tag?

Plus everything SirGrotius said...

A fake, but a good one. I'm afraid you may have bad experience with the bad denim quality though...

By the way can somebody help me with the top (jacket and shirt) sizing? I wear a regular EU46 / US36 (1m74 for 64 kg). Will a size EU46 Dior jacket fit me, given how very slim they seem to fit? or is there a difference between KVA and Hedi eras when it comes to sizing?

How about shirts? (i already own a Dior T-shirt, size "S" and it fits fine, i'm just not sure about jackets and shirts) size 38?
