Has anyone had anything like this repaired before? What does it entail, and will it probably cost a significant amount?

I have a growing suspicion that it will be a costly repair, and that I should have never picked this up.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

The tear is on the top right of the coat.

A re-weaver can fix that, easily. Depending on the size of the area it could cost from $50 to $150. I use Without a Trace in Chicago myself and have always been happy with the work.

Thanks. The coat's too long for me, so I'm just trying to decide if I should fix it before I sell it or sell it as is.

No one will want to buy a coat with such a big tear, unless its a Kiton and you're practically giving it away.
