Hand Made in Italy

This has been lingering on b&s for awhile at a reasonable (criminal) price ....

Said I'd alert various bros when I'd consider less $$$, though now, of course, I can't remember who they were. :foo:

JACKET:

P2P - 23 and 6/8" to almost 24" stretched tight
BOC - 30 and 5/8
SHOULDER- 19 and 5-6/8" depending
SLEEVE - 25"-25.1" seam to cuff down outside; 24.5" seam to center of cuff

PANTS:

WAIST - 18 and 5-6/8" waist fastened, tape hovered just over top of waistband (3.5" to be let out)
RISE - 13 and 7/8" center crotch seam to very top of waistband
THIGH - 13.75" straight across from crotch seam
OUTSEAM - apprx. 41.75"
INSEAM - 29.5" (Please factor in the rise. I usually wear a 30" inseam and these are much too long. If needed, an additional 1.5" can be easily let out at the cuff.)
HEM -- 9 and 7/8"

How recent the gouge looks a bit dated

I have no idea, actually. It's obviously quite fresh and -- ahem -- 'crispy' to the touch, but beyond that, I was contacted by a Serious Business Belvest customer, someone who called it 'pretty recent', though he didn't specify anything beyond that. (The deal-breaker for him was the light shoulder padding, which is apparently standard issue for all their suits made for Stanley Korshack in Dallas).

Light shoulder padding, as in natural shoulder is a "standard issue" for their made suits? This isn't the 90s where people want to look like football players. A soft shoulder these days is much preferred. Your "Serious Business Belvest Customer /buyer" must really have blinders on, and is inadequate of adaptation.

He meant he was looking for suits with no shoulder padding, as opposed to light shoulder padding, which is how I would classify it on the suit above. (It's there, but thin). Or did you mean that one^ looks like a suit from the 90s? I'm no expert, but it seems like most people I see walking around in a business setting aren't going completely unstructured like some straggle-bearded pitti-man. (Even my dressier sw&d blazers have it).

Now paranoid over the latest shoulder pad-ley developments, I dive once again into the noob archives, and pull, from its silken depths, a fresh item, timeless, classic:

Presenting: DEEP PURPLE. The big daddy big boss tie to end all ties.

Stefano Ricci. Four inches wide. And just as thick. Holographic paisley, three layers deep. Four fold. Five fold. Seven fold. Go.

Pics available upon request.

Deep Purple. Are. You. Boss. Enough.

I'm in a bit of a predicament. I have a job interview coming up at the end of the month. Aced the first two (both phone interviews), but the department director is on vacation for the next week, thus the delay. This is the chance of a lifetime - lots of career advancement opportunity, travel, everything I've been looking for. I went to check the fit on my navy suit, and discovered that a pest had made a meal out of it. Everything else in the closet is safe, but that was my go-to interview suit.

Looking for a navy 2-button suit, 44-45R, pants with a 42-43" waist and a 30" inseam. Not too picky about brands at the moment, I just need something that fits and makes me look like a well-put-together professional. Fingers crossed...

business travel is so overrated AWESOME, just for the record.
Traveled for 7 years throughout Europe and Asia for 3 week stints for my prior job. Saw close to 50 countries and filled 2 passports. Had every weekend off for touristy things. If you are traveling to Des Moines Iowa every week than yeah Business travel sucks. If you are traveling to Madrid for 3 weeks than Paris for three weeks after a week at home... than business travel rocks.
