AE's lasts can vary in fit quite a bit. The Park Avenue's 5 last, in particular, is usually understood to fit long and narrow.

Yeah, I've discovered that, but now my question is how wide should I go. Do you know if the last is the same as the Sanford?

No, Sanford is on the 7 last, Park Ave is on the 5. If you know a size that fits well in the Sanford, I'd start by going up a width and possibly down a half size in the PA and see how that fits. Your local AE store should have plenty of sizes available to try.

OK. I've got a WT (i think it actually might be a retail write-off or a second) navy jacket available. there is a pull/run on the back of one of the sleeves (across the sleeve not down it) i can make pics available of course, but i would wear this no problem.

Deetz:

marked 40r, fits me and i'm a slim-shouldered 42r.

jp tilford / samuelsohn hopsack, 2-button, single vent

fully canvassed so far as i can tell

Black MOP buttons.

quarter lined

italian fabric, tailored in canada

seems very current, middling gorge with modern lapel notches but not cartoonishly high...

aside from the run, great shape. unworn with tags. anybody want a great 3 season beater navy jacket, hit me up - trades preferred, always looking for statement knits but i'm open-minded. peace!

it's hopeless with navy indoors at night. i'll edit this post tomorrow with pics. just wanted to get it out there.

EDIT:

Here are some overall pics + run/pull:

forgive the moire... here are some dimensions as well (marked 40r):

Chest: 42", tapered through the waist so good for a true 40r, 41r, or a slim 42

Shoulder to shoulder: 17.5"

Shoulder to hem: 25" with about 2" of fabric underneath

Overall length from base of collar to back hem: 31.5"

flasher has been removed, but there is a Harry Rosen price tag inside the sleeve ($850 lol) nice flat navy, easy structure in the shoulders, nice but i've got 3 navy blazers already lol. remember there are other deetz a couple posts back but of course feel free to pm.

Sorry to spam the thread, I updated my Samuelsohn come-on with deetz above...

Dudes, any of you want this before I send it off to consignment? I picked it up off B&S for $250 a few years ago and have only worn it a handful of times. It needs to go to someone who will put it to good use. It's a vintage Schott Perfecto horsehide double rider, size 38. First $200 plus shipping takes it.

Have a friend looking for a navy suit in 50R US. Please PM if you've got anything.

Someone asked me about a Suede Beretta Trench Coat.   Whoever it was, can you send me a PM.  I took some measurements.

In case you forgot which one I was talking about, this is it:

What are true measurements? Did I miss them?

Most interested in Chest, actual sleeve length from shoulder seam to cuff, and shoulders
