The (Un)Official Thrift Buy /Sell / Trade / Want Thread - Page 12

well I tried to create an album and upload pics, but it wouldn't let me... might be my firewall... I'll figure it out later. In the meantime...

Looking for 43L / 44L suits/sports coats of similar quality... willing to consider other things...

Pretty sure it's a sports coat not an orphan

Missing a couple of buttons on the sleeves (I'm sourcing buttons) but even if you have to rob from another thrift store jacket it would be nice... ideal opportunity to get surgeons cuffs done by a tailor (he has to take the buttons off anyway)

look to have been worn no more than a couple of times... definitely worth checking out if you'r in that 9.5/10 US medium range - I could stretch them and wear them myself, but seems a shame to do that for such a nice pair of shoes.

Also have a pair of Footjoy Classics saddle shoes size 10 (handmade in the US) if anyone is interested

I've got this navy Hickey Freeman for Nordstrom blazer, size 42R. Lining is coming apart in a couple of spots near the bottom, so I'd proxy for cost + shipping.

Things it occurs to me I want:
black pinstripe suit,
chocolate brown or gray birdseye suit
beige or taupe windowpane suit
brown glenplaid suit
black wingtips
black slipons, preferably norwegian split toe; tassel optional

Suits should be double vent, flat front, high quality. Interesting details (ticket pocket; pick stitching, boutonniere holder, contrast lining) a plus. Shoes should be AEs or better, the more slender/"Continental" silhouette the better.

42R x 37 x 31, 10.5-11 D.

Tons of stuff to trade. Hope I can hook you up.

One of the mods need to consolidate the two threads. Mods, are you there?

I think it was more due to that thread dying.

I've got a very recent 48R Lands End heavy wool sport coat, in hunt club check. Perfect condition, with patch pockets and a single rear vent. I'll even include the lands end hanger, if you want it.
Shoulder to shoulder: 21"
Pit to pit: 25.5"
Sleeves: 26.5"
BOC: 31"
I'm not looking for much in a trade, and it is too much work to list this on the bay. Anything 41R or 42R, so long as the sleeves are at least 25". 16.5/35 shirts. 34 pants. Shoot me an offer.263.

This might be of interest to some of you guys:

Here is one that I wished fit me. Awesome Charles Tyrwhitt 3-button, dual-vent navy blazer. Staple. In good used condition, wool is a touch shiny in places, and the liner could used to be fixed in several spots, plus under the arm the lining has worn a bit. Tagged 44 L. Functional cuffs.

Measurements:

Shoulder SEAM to Shoulder SEAM: 8.75"

Chest (Pit to pit): 22.75"

Waist (at narrowest point): 19 3/8"

Length: 31.5"

Sleeves:26"

Looking for a trade I'm:

I am 5'11.5" tall, 165 lbs, and wear a size 11 shoe and 38 r jacket with slightly longer sleeves. My dress shirt size is usually 15-15.5 34-35. Really looking for suede shoes/nice khaki pants/navy blazer w/patch pocket.
