How much will a nike fleece hoodie shrink?

I was looking to get a Nike classic fleece pullover hoodie (80% cotton, 20% poly). I noticed it is much more fitted than other hoodies. The large is actually smaller than a medium in a Champion. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with shrinking as I've had some hoodies shrink significantly after one wash. thanks.

Fleece does not shrink brah. Maybe your other hoodies were 100% cotton?

The other was the same blend (80 cotton, 20 poly) but was a cheap ass Russel I bought for the gym.

That's not fleece brah, not even close. Anything with any cotton content does not qualify as fleece. For the record, cotton will shrink depending on how it was treated from the factory.

Not really here to argue semantics but:

I called it fleece because that is what they call the shirt. Just seeing if people had any experiences with it.

For at least the past 20 years, the term "fleece" in the clothing industry has meant a soft, nappy cotton fabric.

I have one of these - haven't washed it yet though so I can't comment on shrinking. Wouldn't describe it as fitted though its got some room in the body.

Each to their own. Show me evidence that fleece = cotton then maybe I'll be inclined to change my mind, but Malden Mills has been making polartec fleece for over 30 years out of synthetic polyester. Fleece is supposed to be high pile to imitate wool.
