Gotcha. I have a suit with the "old lapel" - the suit is about 3-4 years old now, and it's dynamite. Favorite suit in my closet.

New here but have been lurking on the forum for a while.  The forum has been a great educational tool for me as a result I have had a regime change in my wardrobe and I am posting here because this morning I bought a Sartoria Partenopea navy blazer from Morigi Milano.  After reading the comments here and quality of the Satoria line I did a search at eBay.  He was very patient answered all my questions about fit and can not wait to receive it.

I bought a suit from him and it's great; I didn't care which season it came from because the suit I bought was timeless. The construction is fantastic and the fabric amazing. I now have 5 SP suits - the soft shoulder and particular cut fit me perfectly. I don't even have to alter the jacket.

Some Partenopea porn. They really have a great cut. Very similar to the forum favorite Zegna Milano / "Mila" (which is pictured fourth)

The patterned jackets shown are very blah, IMHO.

I second that!

Reviving this thread again.  I tried on an SP sport jacket at Wilkes a month or so ago and very much liked the cut, but not the particular color.  Tons of handwork.  Wilkes had it on sale for some big discount -- they've stopped carrying the brand so were clearing out stuff I believe.  But there are hundreds of SP jackets and suits on ebay from reputable sellers -- far more than any higher end brand.  What gives?

sartoriale on eBay. Are the products genuine? He has a couple of negative feedbacks that question the authenticity of his items

I believe they had financial troubles in 2015 or 2016 and had a bankruptcy, so probably dumped a lot of inventory to get some funds out. Anyway, I have a SP suit and it is nicely made. Some decent handwork, very good quality and cloth. Easily one of my nicer suits. If you can get one that fits you well at a decent price, do not hesitate.

I'm hardly one to offer any insight, but I have a couple of their shirts. They fit slim and close. Fabric is 6/10. I love Zegna and Kiton fabric, for example, but do have plenty of Borrelli and Barba in my wardrobe for day to day wear and tear. SP is in funky colors though, so they're a decent variation. Never owned a suit made by them, and doubt I will. They're the kind of brand I'd perhaps get a sports jacket from.
