Losing My Mind - Fretting Over Sport Coat Fit - Page 2

For what it's worth, I tried on the same jacket in a 38R; while the bunching was, decidedly, less prevalent, I looked (even more) like a linebacker, this time with the ability to smuggle orphans across the border what with all the extra chest space. The difference in fit was kind of startling (which could speak to perceived brand quality etc.).

a size 38 will vary in cut between makers... id say this jacket is all wrong.

Well spotted. I have to agree with you. Perhaps the cut altogether does not agree with the OPS body type.

There are a few issues (chest is a little tight) but I believe the biggest problem is the dramatic waist suppression on the back (the front looks fine). It's way too much.

That's funny. But he has apoint there, it shouldn't bunch like that..it just made his butt too big.

Crisis averted; the jacket went back today. Thanks, again, for the teaching moment. I now have a much better idea of things to pay attention to moving forward.
