Bamboo T-shirt ??

Anyone have experience with bamboo clothes, namely tshirts? Are they super soft, what brands to buy.. Ect..

Yes, in general, they're quite soft and otherwise similar to cotton in many ways. You haven't given enough information that would help anyone direct you to particular brands. Anyway, this sub-forum isn't going to be much help on tee shirts.

I've seen bamboo mostly used in socks. It's supposed to have some odor fighting or other magical mojo. The socks felt quite normal, not like I'd be wearing bamboo splinters or something.

If you are able to come across bamboo t-shirts that are not products of Monsanto, please inform. I have worn bamboo ski socks to great success in -30 degree fairenheit temperatures.

The shirts are NOT MADE OUT OF BAMBOO.

they are rayon. Same shit that was churned out in the 70s (or early 1900s depending on your historical preference).

rayon is a cellulosic artificial fiber. Needs a woody starter to get the cellulose and bamboo is cheap and does pretty well, add some other chemicals a little base and, viola, rayon.

Marketing hype to ride the green and natural fiber wave. Read your labels carefully.

He's right, It's not 100% natural material as advertised. I have some Polo socks, they have some nice stretch to them, soft enough, but wear out pretty quick. It's better than polyester I suppose...
