True, but that power will mask a multitude of chassis sins.
I agree, although JYS lately has been veering rather close to "Get off my lawn!" territory sometimes.
Non-sequitur.
Jackie Stewart is one of these rare people that I just can't find a reason not to admire. Every single instance that I hear him talk, watch an old documentary, or listen to him describe racing, safety or his era of F1, he is just such an incredibly impressive person. His contribution to F1 is perhaps unmatched because there are dozens of drivers still alive and it can be directly traced to him. No other person has taught me more about how to perform in an F1 car. Coultard and Brundle do a very good job, but Steward has an amazing way to explain the process of driving with simple yet powerful language.
I sometimes find Jackie annoying. Usually because he doesn't ever seem to pass on an opportunity to offer a quote on most subjects. Also, his very interesting book was probably 100 or so pages too long (because he talked too much). Anyway, I do admire his achievements as a driver, businessman, team owner, and safety activist. Watching Roman Polanski's movie featuring him during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend was a treat. I think it was called "Weekend with a Champion".
Documentary of Fernando Alonso's last race with Ferrari. Spanish but with English subtitles.
