The driver of that B52 must have been terrified of a side impact.

They were not concerned with such things back then. Plus, there's not much more than a bit of radiator at the back on the McLaren and Jordan we posted.

Ya but still, its heartening when you can at least look at something on your side. Maybe it won't do ****... but you fantasize you're safer.

Four time consecutive champion. One more and he matches the other German?

What a boring ******* race. They actually had tires that lasted 3 laps. This is ridiculous.

One highlight...

Hamilton stopped on lap 8, no?

Anyway, there was plenty of racing for all but the top spot.

We had the illusion of racing. I've become pretty critical of DRS. I used to think it was a good thing but I don't think so anymore. Passing is just so easy now.

Also, I love how the commentators sit there pretending for as long as possible that Webber's strategy could have won him the race, but like lap 7 you knew it was Vettel. I mean, he won by almost 30 seconds.

Credit Grojean. I think Lotus have a solid lead driver there.

I have been opposed to DRS from the beginning. That said, it didn't seem to help Hamilton get around Massa. It's all dependent on how long the zone is and which cars are involved. At some tracks and with the right car setup, it's not a huge factor. e.g., Hulkenberg in Korea.

I'd much rather get rid of the acres of paved runoff than DRS.

And, yes, Grosjean looks to have turned down the Rash dial while leaving the Speed dial at 10. Also, it will be criminal if Hulkenberg is left with only a seat at Force India or, worse, no seat at all.

And, while I'm at it, the FIA needs to loosen its girdle. If there's no room in the sport for Vettel's celebration...

How about both. And that stupid astroturf. It doesn't matter anyway, with these tires you can't drive the car on the limit anyway anymore.

I saw an interview with Eddie Irvine recently, he's right. F1 is just too tame now. You need to be punished for a mistake, and you need to work to make a pass.

I don't think it's quite that dire, but it's certainly not good. It's ironic that they've introduced all these gimmicks to draw in fans, but then they punish a driver who engages in a celebration that is actually crowd-pleasing.

I admit I don't like Vettel, but I actually liked the celebration. It was totally unexpected and was passionate. I give the kid credit for expressing himself with something else than wagging that #1 finger.

I actually enjoyed the race. Not going to clog my post with more complaining. I'm not a huge Vettel fan but I really liked his celebration and I'm happy for him. If Webber finished the race without problem he would've finished much closer behind Vettel than Rosberg. Maybe even contested for the win for a moment. I really hope he gets a win before he exits the F1 stage.

WTF man... can someone teach Mark Webber how to launch an F1 car?? He's making this **** too easy for SV. Winning by this margin takes us back to the Schumi Ferrari prime.
