High tops or low tops and what colour?

Should I get normal trainers or high tops? I'm looking for ones with white soles and a coloured top. I would wear blue straight jeans.

Also what coloured belt would match with what coloured shoe. Eg: blue trainers with a brown or black belt?

I prefer low-tops. But I feel Lanvin sneakers are so 3 years ago.
