I’m going to buy the kind of shorts like the ones you see on the picture below (I don’t know their type though). Since I have not worn any kind of shorts for a dozen of years I wonder what shoes fit shorts best? Sneakers, flip-flops, sandals? Actually I hesitate over a choice between sneakers the guys on the picture wear and flip-flops.

1) Is it always appropriate to wear no socks with shorts and sneakers?
