What color pants goes well with a black sweater?!

Hi im pretty new to this but im having trouble of what color pants I should wear with my black sweater! Is black jeans ok? Although when I wear it with it it seemed like im wearing too much black since I wear black leather shoes with it too! Should I change to trousers or stick with jeans? and what shoe color compliments the setup!? Need help! Thanks !

dark beige, light brown pants

have some nice light brownish cerrutti pants myself that go well with black, to make it less dull

would go with black shoes though

Any shade of grey. Denim, also in all shades but the lightest; I personally would stay away from beige. Black shoes.

Just about anything really except bight colours, the exception to this rule is white IMO. Would stay away from reds and yellows
