Anderson & Co Shetland Knitwear

post #1 of 3
Thread Starter
I intend to have a few jumpers knit for next winter.

Has anyone had any dealings with Anderson & Co? (I've searched through SF and all the results are Anderson & Sheppard and Anderson Cooper.)

I like the lumbercoat.

As each piece is handknit it'll take a while to be completed. Is delivery in 6 - 8 months a reasonable expectation?

If you know of alternate knitters pls let me know.

Thank you.

Actually wondering the same thing. On the look-out for a MTM brushed Shetland wool "aka Shaggy dog" sweater, so have emailed to see what they can provide. Their Kellister sweaters look nice.

@Curzon
I recently ordered a MTM handknitted crew neck Fair Isle sweater (Prince of Wales crewneck, H4 for 191 pounds) from Louise Irvine (http://www.shetland-handknits.co.uk/welcome.html) and am extremely pleased. Came after 6 weeks I think, is beautiful and fits perfectly. 6-8 months sounds pretty crazy - did they tell you that?

The Stockroom at Inventory mag has some ready to wear sweaters from them.
