What is the ideal age for a girl you date?

I was thinking that as I get older I find 18 to 23 year olds or so more and more extremely hot. Having largely dated 20 to 22 year olds in the last few years (I'm 35) I'm well aware of the downsides - can be immature, get odd/jealous looks from others, they also have just started careers so are low earners meaning more falls to me to pay/ we can do less.

I sometimes think then that dating a 30 year or perhaps dare I say it, someone my own age who has a very good job would make life easier albeit much less hot and filthy.

What are your thoughts on ideal ages for you and pros and cons of that?

It doesn't acidboy, but statistically it is strongly weighted in the younger women's favour, that is just human nature. Do you not find the early 20 year olds much more of teh filthy and hot?

Go with hot and filthy for as long as you can.
You can always fall back on age-appropriate.

I will be 35 this year and have no interest in dating 20 year olds. Fucking them, maybe. But all the women I am interested in dating are at least 27. My current gf is actually older than me by about half a year and she looks great. Probably looks better than she did at 20 because she knows how to maximize her beauty.

I think I've read someplace that a study was done and that men from like... age 7 to 80 prefer the facial structure of 17 year olds.

Yeah I'm reading an interesting book called "The Red Queen: Sex and the Evolution of Human Nature" which basically states as such.


^ That as a species that's existed for a blink of an eye compared to most other species on the planet, the time when we've been "civilised" and had social norms about age appropriate relationships (IE a 50 year old not dating an 18 year old) is a tiny fraction of a blink an eye, and therefore far from sufficient to change human nature.

^ Social norms are very influential and much faster at changing behaviour although not the underlying nature.

What would you both choose to do if financially independant? Being both above money concerns of having a no/low earning girl friend, and also largely above social norms.

Money's not an issue. If I were out on the prowl for a hook up, then I would take the first good looking thing that came along. But if I'm going to make someone part of my life, we are going to need some connection beyond her giving me a boner, and it's unlikely a teenager is going to have the life experience necessary to stimulate me intellectually. Not to mention that kids are fucking annoying. Every time I speak with someone under 25 I find them to be flighty, silly, whiny and self absorbed. Having some hot arm candy isn't enough of a payoff for me to put up with that for any extended period of time.

That is fair enough and I have found the same with many younger girlfriends and broken up as a result. You do get the odd gem though that is very interesting

Yeah I keep an open mind. Although I am pretty sure that I am currently with the woman that I will marry.

BTW, if you are into the whole "pick up artist" thing, let a 20 year old girl hear you say that you are really only interested in women 30 or above. I found out quite by accident that this really works.

I'm not into the whole PUA thing, but yeah most girls get jealous of/want what they seemingly can't have + with some status or popularity thrown in

Why do you say that Neo?

I must say my opinion of most everyday women my own age is that they look like an aunt or similar much older relative and are not attractive. The whole lust for children by the 30 something women is also not great either.
