Best Way to Remove Small Stain on Wool Trousers w/o Dry Clean?

I just got my RLBL wool trousers back from the dry cleaners yesterday and today I got a drop of mayo on them.

Is there a safe effective way to remove the stain without taking back to the cleaners?

Put a mound of baby powder over the stain. Leave it for an hour or two, brush off. The powder absorbs the oil. DO NOT put water on it, do not rub it, blot it.

Thanks. So if I already rubbed and blotted with a damp napkin (I couldn't just walk around the office with a wet mayo glob on my pants) is it worth it to still try the powder?

Try it. The sooner you apply the powder the better chance of getting a good result.

Use a non bio washing liquid, wash on the delicates setting with no heat but not a full wash. Do not spin dry
