the Knoll is probably more livable if you want something to lay about on, but the LC2 is more elegant and better for sitting rooms. Don't expect to catch Z's on an LC2, but for seating people, it's more a more elegant piece of design. Ubiquity shouldn't turn one off the design.

my gf's old office had a Knoll sofa. Fucker was awe inspiringly uncomfortable, both for sitting in and laying on. Would never buy and we could have scored one at a sizeable discount.

at home, we have an LC3 Méridienne with down filling. Very comfortable.
