Ralph lauren purple label tie looks fake?

All,

I bought a Ralph Lauren Purple Label tie on ebay from a seller with alot of feedback, but I received the tie today and am not sure about it. It tapers down to about the middle of the tie like normal, but instead of staying that way it starts to widen out again towards the other end. The end is almost too big to put though the keeper on the back. Is this normal? I can take a picture if needed, but it has all of the correct tags and writing.

Since I do not own any other purple label ties I am not sure. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks smile.gif

Lol, yes it's real. That would be way too much effort to fake a pre-owned tie.

Real, great tie, and yes, many of the RLPL that I've seen are little bit wide on the skinny end.

/thread. It may be made in China, but as long as Spoo says it's real, it's real. He's like the Chuck Norris of verification.

Looks really good.

I have that tie. Mine doesn't get wider. However, I imagine it's because the tie is used and stretched some.

I bought the same tie at retail, and it has the same characteristics as you describe...
